One of our core programmes, Empowering Women is aimed at existing or aspiring female leaders who are looking for a significant personal growth opportunity. It has run many times at a national level and is particularly suitable for organisations looking to nurture and retain female talent, bringing a higher proportion into leadership roles.

 

It comprises a journey of workshops, coaching, mentoring and group work. The workshops are highly interactive with participants learning from each other, sharing experience and providing mutual support. 

Cohorts are typically 12-20 in size and delivered by two highly experienced facilitators and a team of professional coaches. The content is not usually designed around any particular profession or sector. A variety of roles and experience can bring a rich set of perspectives into the discussions and exercises. 

The programme is built around these core elements:

  • ​Building sustainable changes in your confidence and style of leadership through individual coaching.

  • Learning through self-awareness and experience in order to make more conscious choices and decisions. 

  • Networking to enable personal and strategic relationships built on trust and collaboration.​

This programme has been running for five years under the name of 'Top Talent' at a national level in both England and Scotland. It is aimed at existing or aspiring leaders who are looking for a significant personal growth opportunity. It is particularly relevant for managers looking to build broader leadership skills. This is a tailorable offering for any organisation looking to build leadership capacity; to inspire, engage and motivate teams in tackling change and transformation projects. 

A key part of the programme is a self-managed team project selected by the sponsor or team. This project can be designed to build collaborative leadership skills and enables participants to deliver a tangible outcome with an unfamiliar team. This programme could be combined with modules from Empowering Teams to include assessment methodologies. 

Organisations who want to build diverse leadership capacity at different levels will find this programme valuable. A key focus area for many organisations is to enable the shift from 'manager' (task-oriented) to 'leader' (people-oriented). This has obvious benefits:- getting the best from people, improving employee engagement, talent recruitment and retention.

The programme is built around these core elements:

This programme is modular in nature and is aimed at providing leaders and their teams with an opportunity to grow their skills, either independently or as an intact team.  With an emphasis on empowerment and building trust, the content can be adapted to meet specific needs.

 

As with our other programmes, it comprises a journey of workshops, coaching and group work. Where it is different is that there is an option for the completion of individual and team assessments using recognised methodologies such as:

 

  • HBDI - Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument, designed to measure and describe thinking preferences in people.

  • ​MBTI - Myers Briggs Type Indicator, a well known personality profiling instrument.

  • Clarity4D - personality profiling similar to Insights.

 

In addition to the assessments, a broad range of developmental subjects can be selected ranging from presentation skills through to strategic planning and everything in between!  The workshops are highly interactive with participants learning from each other, sharing experience and providing mutual support.
