Program Partnership

Work with us and help to build powerful communities of diverse, empowered leaders.

Our Programs

Building powerful communities of diverse, authentic leaders

“Empowering Women to Lead...” are unique, cross-sector leadership programs, designed specifically for women working in digital services and cyber security. Delivered in association with key government and industry bodies across the UK, the initiatives aim to build a collaborative, inclusive and sustainable community of emerging female leaders in the tech sector across the UK.

Each program is free of charge to participants and takes place over the course of 3 months. The programs include a combination of in-person group workshops, one to one coaching which is tailored to each participant’s specific developmental needs, and a combination of individual and group self-directed project work. The “Empowering Women to Lead…” programs are designed to enable the transition of digital professionals, regardless of their career stage, into confident, capable and motivated leaders, with their own authentic styles of leadership.

Who Are the Participants?

Supporting the sector's emerging leadership talent

Each regional program consists of a maximum cohort of 20-24 participants, who are selected from an open application process by our Program Panel. Applications are welcomed from candidates working in the public, private or 3rd sector organisations within each region. There are no restrictions based on career stage or digital discipline and all participant places are fully funded by the initiative’s partners and supporters, so ability to pay for their involvement is not a barrier.

Our Program Panels, consisting of senior representatives from the UK’s leading tech industry bodies and public bodies, oversee the selection process to ensure that each cohort truly represents the diversity of each region’s digital talent pool.

The “Empowering Women to Lead…” programs are uniquely cross-sector by nature, designed to foster collaborative networks between public sector and industry professionals. Sectors represented by participants on previous cohorts have ranged from local and central government, the health sector and higher education, through to telecommunications, financial services, pharmaceuticals, technology providers and defence.

A Regional Approach

Community is key.

The “Empowering Women to Lead…” approach is designed to create sustainable and supportive communities of emerging digital leaders in regions across the UK.

By taking this localised approach, alumni from previous cohorts are signposted to opportunities which support their continued development, as well as hosting regular meet-ups, where they can
renew their networks and connections, hear from inspiring speakers and access additional coaching and development.

The "Empowering Women to Lead..." program is a perfect fit for Quorum Cyber. We know that we work in an industry that is male dominated and our association with the program is an important way for us to let females in cyber know that we are a great place to work. Just as importantly though, the colleagues who taken part in the program have embraced the development opportunity and built fantastic new networks.
